Alex Watson

Co-Owner & Coach

With a background in physiotherapy and national level hockey, Alex has been in the fitness industry since 2018 working as a personal trainer and S&C coach. He first encountered CrossFit as a member in his early years in the industry before gaining qualifications to become a CrossFit coach. Now with over 4 years CrossFit coaching experience, a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer and a wealth of knowledge in Olympic Weightlifting, Gymnastics, rehabilitation and corrective exercise.

A naturally competitive person always looking to find a way to better himself and those around him, George has spent years working in the fitness industry both in the UK and abroad and had his first taste of CrossFit as a member in 2021. He fell in love with the continuous challenge that he now found in his training prompting him to make the switch to become a CrossFit coach in early 2022. He has coached thousands of hours of classes, a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer with experience in Olympic Weightlifting, Adaptive Training, Animal Flow and Gymnastics.

Sophie has always been into sport from an early age, preferring to be ok at everything than very good at one thing. Spending a lot of her 20s travelling and whilst working as Cabin Crew decided to study for her Personal Training Qualification. Qualifying in 2018, Sophie took her first job in the industry as a spin instructor moving on to F45 and then to Third Space where she worked as an Instructor and Group Exercise Manager. In 2019 Sophie discovered and fell in love with CrossFit, finally finding a sport where she could use the ‘jack of all trades master of none’ skill set. She made the decision to do her CrossFit Level 1 in 2021, so she could share the sport and inspire others.

At CrossFit TwentyThree, we believe in giving new members a comprehensive experience right from the start, which is why we don’t offer free trials or foundations courses. Instead, we provide a 14-day unlimited trial. This trial period offers a thorough introduction to CrossFit, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the varied and dynamic workouts that define our program. Therefore you’ll experience firsthand the diverse and constantly varied nature of CrossFit, making it the best way to sample everything we have to offer.
